PixelAvenue is an interactive light installation located under the A86 motorway bridge
A86 motorway bridge, a few steps from the Stade de France.
PixelAvenue is a giant pixelated screen that forms a “luminous sky” that breaks the confining effect of this passage. This luminous installation highlights the dynamic movements that cross the site: pedestrians, cyclists, car traffic and the day/night cycle. Using movement and sound sensors, the artist creates variations that are symptomatic of the activity in the neighbourhood. The different light scenarios, colours, shapes and rhythms interact directly with the life of the site.
Interactions: PIR presence and movement sensors and microphones
PixelAvenue is a permanent work of art located just a stone’s throw from the Stade de France, and enjoys high visibility. Several urban music groups have used it to shoot their video clips: Jazzy Bazz – Charles Bronson, September 2018 / Kolline – Lost, March 2020
