For his first solo exhibition at the Teodora Galerie, Alexander Deanesi proclaims his desire for unity through art. His approach, like a timeless synthesis, draws from the world’s eras and territories the symbols that herald a new thought.

The theme of surpassing oneself at the heart of the artist’s approach echoes Nietzschean philosophy. Like Nietzsche, he is the thinker of the impossible limit that resides in every human being. Each individual has his own conscience and, within himself, a force that is based on his possibilities.

Faced with a world scarred by ancient divisions, the painter reconciles Eastern and Western philosophies and opens a dialogue between past and present.

If knowledge is a weapon for the free spirit, art is a tool that allows the awakening of consciousness through the sensitive understanding of the world.
