Biography
Medra was born in 1972 in Vitry sur Seine, and grew up in Orly. After attending an advertising school, the encounter with the hip-hop movement in the 90s marked his youth. He discovered the path of the wastelands and other railways.
It was then that he joined various groups in the southern suburbs, close to rap groups (Different Teep, Mc Solaar…) His first graffiti in the “old school” style was done alongside his sidekick of the time Daddy Morry.
As time goes by, he multiplies his experiences and his painting reveals an assertive style. His art is applied on many supports: posters, logos, record sleeves, shows, exhibitions, workshops, performances… Today, Medra delivers an explosive, coloured and definitely urban painting…
