The world of JBC is a symbolic entanglement mixing Latin American Baroque art, Russian realism, cult of icons, in other words : paraganism in its all aspects.

With his personal graphic style,a reminiscence a stained glass, his favorite themes resonate in which he is magnifycing characters, even in the most absurd or trivial situations.

In its imagination, JBC is always choosing warm colors and plant elements in order to remind us the importance of the tropics. These choices are resulting of his many travels in South America.
